Challenge Camp is hiring! Â Here are the roles we are looking to add to our team:
For bright, athletic, artistic, enthusiastic, patient and kind individuals who enjoy working with children. Counselors assist our instructors in our academic enrichment classes, sports and swimming as well as participating in camp activities while interacting with all campers.
In accordance with NY State regulations, counselors must be 16 years of age prior to starting work at camp.
For persons with Aquatics experience that are a currently certified as lifeguards or aquatics staff or if you have a desire to obtain lifeguard certification.

- Counselors – full summer counselors starting from $1,400 – $1,750
- Classroom Instructors – ranging from $20 – $50 / hour
- Sports Staff / Instructors – ranging from $20 – $30 / hour
- Aquatics Team – ranging from $18 – $25 / hour
- Administration / Office Staff – ranging from $20 – $30 / hour
