Discover, Imagine and Create is an original summer program designed to meet the needs of intellectually and creatively gifted youngsters who will be entering kindergarten in the fall. This course will encourage the development of creative thinking skills through stimulating experiences incorporating language, reading, math and science concepts as well as drawing, painting and imaginative play. History, animals, creative expression and the world of science and mathematics will come alive through our thematic approach.

Explore planets, stars, orbits, the sun and moon!
AUTHOR STUDY – LOIS EHLERT
Discover facts the similarities in the stories and illustrations of a favorite engaging author as we make our own art to mimic her work!
ON THE POND
What is an Ecosystem? An exploration of plants and animals living on the pond.
WEATHER SCIENCE
Understand climate, seasons, temperature, wind, water cycles and more!
CONSTRUCTION
Create structures using different materials, tools, Legos and machines.
ARCTIC ANIMALS
Bringing a chill to summer: study polar bears, foxes, puffins, seals and more.
Elective Activities (11:00, 1:00PM & 2:00PM)
Our Pre-K campers will integrate as a group into elective classes with current K-1 students. They will take a movevement, and art class and a music class each session.
