Applause!
Be a musical star as we perform works from various Broadway shows, from Rodgers and Hammerstein classics to the newer sounds of Disney’s High School Musical. The course will focus on vocal technique, performance practice, stage presence and basic choreography. There will be opportunities for solo and ensemble singing. Join a choir that will be a showstopper!

Our baseball instruction stresses the fundamentals of the sport in a fun non competitive format. Skills such as pitching, hitting, fielding, and base running will be taught each day. You will become a much better player through practice, teamwork and real game excitement!

Basketball is an extremely popular sport that develops sportsmanship, teamwork and individual accomplishment. You'll receive top instruction in shooting, dribbling, passing and shot selection. Golf is a popular sport amongst children of all ages. Our golf program will teach you the basic rules and etiquette of the game along with the fundamentals of developing your swing, correcting your stance and maneuvering the ball. This is a great opportunity for beginners and experienced players alike.

Junior Varsity
Specifically designed for 5-7 year olds, this skills building class and recreational games program is a wonderful introduction to the world of sports. All activities are designed to enhance and develop motor skills, coordination and sportsmanship through active play and instruction. Some of these activities include: running games, parachute games, throwing, catching, kicking, mini golf, T-ball and more.

This is a hands-on building experience designed to promote creativity and problem solving. Mathematical and Science design projects will be integrated to develop skill in construction using Rods and Connectors.

The martial arts have become an increasingly popular and effective way for children, young and old, to achieve personal physical and psychological milestones. Students will learn a unique mix of martial arts that promotes physical fitness, mental clarity, relaxation, self-defense, respect, integrity and discipline. They will tighten, tone, and firm their body while building a positive self-image as well as increasing their self-confidence.

This imaginative class centers around the design and creation of beaded jewelry. Color, pattern and individual style using beads, jewels, shells and feathers will set your designs apart! Bracelets, earrings, necklaces, pins, jeweled masks and anything else you’d like is sure to give Tiffany, Bulgari and Cartier some competition.

This challenging class will incorporate a variety of modern dance styles, concentrating on dance technique balanced with improvisation and choreography. Students will increase understanding of their own physical, mental and expressive potential. Emphasis will be placed on alignment, core strength muscular efficiency and dynamic range of movement. Experience the joy of movement with the benefits of fitness.

A first anywhere! A hot hootenanny hoe-down of country and western music, combined with the soulful sounds of new-world klezmer and ethnic folk. Selections will include: Casey Jones, Poultry Promenade, This Land is Your Land, Cow Cow Boogie, Turkey in the Straw – meet Fiddler on the Roof! We will create something brand new! For all instrumental performers from ages 7+.

Stage Door
Enter the world of theatrical production! Learn the art of costume and set design. Under the guidance of our artistic director, we will research, measure, design and create original costumes for the musical theatre production of “Beauty and the Beast.” Costumes/scenery will be constructed of fabric, paper, foam board, paint and other materials. This imaginative behind the scenes process will bring our production to “Life” and provide an awareness of the importance of stagecraft and design skills to the production. Participants from the theatrical cast are encouraged to join and other non-performers are all welcome!

For musicians only! We will play from blues to bop, fusion and beyond. This performance jazz band will improve your playing skills, explore chord progressions and improvisation techniques which will open new avenues of creativity and expression.

Circus in Motion!
Come one, come all! Learn and enjoy the Circus arts! Circus in Motion combines circus skills and techniques, physical education and character building in a non-competitive atmosphere. Try your hand at plate spinning, Diablo, juggling, balancing, object manipulation, tumbling, pantomime and slapstick. Discover the artistry of the clown by exploring traditional circus characters and by developing your own true clown. Come along with us and learn new and exciting language of fun and fitness at the circus… and be a clown, be a clown, be a clown!

Gizmos and Gadgets
Learn to be GREEN and improve the environment. Renewable energy technologies are clean sources of energy that have a much lower environmental impact. In this course, students will investigate several forms of cleaner, more practical energy while constructing various water, land and air vehicles. Projects will include the use of fuel cells, solar energy, wind and steam power, as well as magnetic energy, and the use of air and water pressure. Materials Fee: $50.00

If you play an instrument we want you in our rock and roll band! The Stones, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Beatles, and Coldplay - it’s up to you what songs we’ll play, and then we’ll groove and jam all day.

Rocket University
Preparing for the “Final Frontier of Exploration”Students will train to be real “rocket scientists” and “aerospace engineers” in this inspired new offering. In “Rocket University” you will learn about the history of rockets from ancient Chinese fireworks, to modern day spacecraft and military applications while discovering principals of launching, trajectories, thrust, navigation, flight paths, altitudes, orbits, recovery methods, safety and more! Students will receive their individual rocket kits and assemble them while applying what they have learned to their design and construction. You will launch your rockets and record data. Rocketeers are awarded certificates for best design and rocket performance. Materials fee: $60.00

Shutterbugs
This course is an invitation to explore design in photography and the use of both film and digital cameras and photo printers. Throughout this workshop students will learn to process, enhance and print black and white color and sepia photographs. Junior photographers will learn how to create digital photo albums and slide shows with their own home pc and/or VCR equipped TV. Guaranteed to open up your mind to think about time, art and space in a totally new and different way!

Soccer
The aim of our soccer program is to help campers develop an understanding of the rules, strategy, positions and play of the sport. You will be challenged to your fullest potential through a variety of exercises, drills and games that are serious fun. The skills taught at camp are considered to be the requisite tools necessary to be successful in any game situation.

Tennis
Our Challenge Tennis program is designed with beginners in mind. You will learn the rules and scoring of the game along with all types of different drills and skill building exercises. You will learn the technique of a great serve and a variety of different strokes. Your game will improve quickly with great coaching and practice.

ULTIMATE FRISBEE
Ultimate Frisbee is an exciting, non-contact team sport that is played throughout the world and whose popularity continues to rise. Ultimate is a unique mixture of Frisbee, football and soccer, providing an exhilarating workout. The spirit of the game stresses sportsmanship and fair play.

Let's Go Yu-Gi-Oh
Yu-Gi-Oh is the most popular new card game for children. It combines strategy and imagination into fun filled "battles". In one on one showdowns players must use their wits to out duel one another and win the game. In this class, beginners will learn the rules of the game and the basics of creating a deck of cards. As players advance they will learn the strategy of play in attempting to become master of the game.
